An excellent opportunity for an experienced EL1 Assistant Director to work alongside Senior Management on major projects in a federal department supporting the Government's agenda on substantial policy developments.

As a key member of the team you will draw upon your proven track record within the APS to support the development of projects by providing support to the Manager responsible for the major deliverables in the implementation of Regulatory Division objectives. Your communication skills will enable you to effectively build relationships, inspire confidence, credibility and trust ensuring internal and external stakeholders are represented at the highest level. You will have the opportunity to manage a small team to deliver projects to achieve high quality outreach outcomes for the department.

Your success in this role will be your first step to creating positive change. Your self-motivation, capability to take on new information quickly, and ability to work to agreed timetables, budgets and with all relevant policies will see you succeed in this role. Previous working in a EL1 Program Officer with Funding Agreement experience would be an a key advantage to being successful in this role.
