Overview:
Our client, a leading domestic bank, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their Group Capital Management finance team. In this role you provide capital information and advice to the divisions and specific business units that make up the group. You will also gain excellent exposure to senior management including the Group CFO. This is a key area of focus for the Bank and the successful candidate will be involved in the planning and delivery of some of the Bank's most strategically important projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Involvement in divisional attribution of regulatory capital usage
- Collation of quarterly internal performance metrics reporting to senior management
- Liaising with Group Treasury Balance Sheet Management team
- Involvement with production ofMacquarie's quarterly 'Pillar 3' disclosures document
- Systems testing for new credit risk calculation engine
- Process and control framework development for new systems infrastructure
- Assisting management with ad hoc tasks related to capital data
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified CA or CPA with relevant experience gained within another Financial Services institution
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work flows and ensure that deliverables are understood and achieved
- A team orientated approach
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership of areas of responsibility
- Be able to anticipate potential problems and contribute to identifying innovative solutions
