The Role
Due to continued success, a role has arisen for a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join their highly successful and motivated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the 'big hitters' within the industry and offers the chance to work on some of the major headline projects making the news. It is available on a temp-to-perm basis.
The Responsibilities
As Senior Associate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, project management and delivery of a number of transport and civil engineering projects. The role will be predominantly based in Sydney, but interstate and international travel may be required.
You will be required to:
• Prepare tenders and proposals to clients
• Manage complex large scale projects
• Monitoring of project progress
• Training and mentoring of experienced technical staff
• Assist with business development and marketing
• Represent the client at meetings and industry conferences
The Requirements
• 12-15 years professional experience related to roads and highways
• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of Australian engineering design standards and practices
• Member of Institution of Engineers Australia or CPEng
• RPEQ accredited/willing to undertake accreditation
• Proven experience within the engineering design and delivery of roads and highways projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be an independent decision maker
• Proven project management experience
• Ability to prepare and control project budgets
• Full working rights in Australia
