About Our Client
Galadari Brothers Co LLC is one amongst the longest established, large and well known business conglomerates in the U.A.E and has recently formed a joint venture partnership with Dunkin Brands Inc. in the management and operations of Baskin Robbins outlets in Australia. On the back of this new partnership an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a General Manager Australia to drive business improvement and growth across the local market.
Job Description
This is a highly autonomous role reporting into the joint venture board based in the U.A.E. With an already established Australian footprint you will be responsible for developing and executing an aggressive growth strategy to significantly increase Baskin Robbins presence in the Australian market. In addition the successful candidate will have a primary focus on the following key areas:
To manage, grow and in some instances turnaround existing businesses to maximise their full potential for all stakeholders.
To develop and achieve the annual business plans for the Australian business focused on franchisee development and own store operations to grow revenue achievement and profit contribution.
To develop and grow the Baskin Robbins Australia management team and Company into a world class organisation capable of significant growth.
The Successful Applicant
The General Manager Australia will have a strong and proactive attitude towards business improvement and growth. The role will require retail knowledge of managing multi site, multi state franchise and company store operations, as well as an individual with experience in partnership management, joint ventures & franchising. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional, with 10+ years of experience ideally within a QSR or retail food and beverage business. A flair for both senior level negotiation and the ability to achieve operational excellence are vital. The ideal candidate should have the following characteristics:
Effective leadership skills in order to inspire engage and maximise the performance of all stakeholders.
Ability to think and act strategically with a timely focus on actual execution.
Strong planning and organisation skills required to ensure that all aspects of the business are effectively managed.
The capability to improve effectiveness and efficiency by assessing people, work-flows and the organisation.
Excellent business awareness and commercial acumen to incorporate local and international standards.
