An rare and exciting opportunity has risen in our property team! Reporting into the National Property Manager, the role of National Contracts and Leasing Manager is responsible for the occupancy of all target sites across Australia. Your skills in asset management and Lessor/Lessee compliance with lease terms for all stores, offices and offsite reserves will ensure our businesses trade without impediment. You have an eye for detail and your organisational skills and business accumen are second to none. You can communicate on all levels both verbally and written and have an outstanding understanding of legal language and documentation.
Great Opportunity
- To ensure continuity of leases for all Offsite Reserves leased by Target
- To liaise with the National Property Manager in ensuring that store redevelopments are conducted to the satisfaction of Target
- Interpretation of the terms of each lease and ability to negotiate directly and in turn influence the level of occupancy costs
- Recognise opportunities for cost savings across the business and strive to implement them in partnership with your peers and/or manager
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven track record of building, leading, motivating and managing high performing teams over the past 5 years
- Capability of formulating strategic plans for continuous improvement and acting as a change agent
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple major projects simultaneously
- Negotiate for effective outcomes for all parties
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines as an individual and in a team
- Tertiary qualifications in property or business related disciplines or related experience in a property management role
