Aspirations Wealth Group is a boutique Financial Planning and Accounting firm in Hurstville. Awarded Best Overall business in the Southern region (2011), we are an energetic , successful, growing, highly regarded small business. With two partners and three support staff, we are now seeking a full time tax accountant to replace a retired partner.
While the Financial Planning side of the business is growing well, the Tax Accounting side needs a confident, enthusiastic, client focused professional to manage a steady stream of new referrals and convert these into long term happy clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare tax returns and financials for small to medium businesses, with companies, partnerships, trusts and Self Managed Super Funds
• Prepare tax returns for individual clients
• Manage tax compliance obligations
• Prepare and assist clients with IAS and BAS
• Provide tax and business advice to clients
• Review and analyse financial statements and business structures
• Provide training and guidance our support team as necessary
• Find new clients from your network – the source of your bonus!
• Find and assist with negotiating the acquisition of 1-2 small accounting firms to help grow our business
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Minimum 3 Years in a Public Practice
• A strong desire to run their own business with two other partners
• Outstanding interpersonal and business development skills
• A laser focus on client service
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and taxation
• Accounting tertiary qualifications
• Sound Handisoft and/or MYOB skills
This role is available for immediate start and the ideal candidate will receive:
• $70,000 salary plus 9% super
• Earn an additional $60,000 per annum in bonuses from new business you bring on
• An opportunity to own a significant proportion of the business
