Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Electronic/Electrical Engineer who is looking for a challenging role with a company that provides specialist services to Defence, and Defence Industry.
This position will have the right individual moving into a management position, taking a leading role in project team based in Exmouth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Risk Assessment activities.
- Preparing engineering documentation in support of electrical systems/sub-systems.
- Resolving design/production problems/deficiencies.
- Provide engineering advice to experienced Engineers, Contractors and Project Authority on electrical systems and documentation development.
- Conducting and reporting on the outcome of technical investigations.
- Prepare/review engineering change proposals (defining scope of work, compiling costs etc.).
- Assist the Engineering Manager in technical reviews, audits and analysis associated with the project.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualifications required in Electronic/Electrical Engineering with Lead Engineer experience.
- Experience with electrical design and design changes in a Defence environment.
- Experience in Military Standards.
