Joining a dynamic and proactive team in a highly sought after government agency, be part of developing online learning capabilities and a Learning Management System (LMS). This is an important initiative - hence you will need to work effectively in a small team environment where new ideas and sharing of knowledge is appreciated and encouraged.
This is an urgent vacancy - hence immediate availability is preferable.
Responsibilities will be widely varied, but may include:
Management of junior staff
Liaising with stakeholders to resolve LMS issues
Providing user support of the LMS and other online learning tools
Training users on the LMS
Ensuring all training courses are updated as required
Reporting on training statistics
To be successful in this position you will need to have a strong understanding of learning and development and training activities combined with knowledge of online learning solutions. You will be a self-starter - able to use strong initiative and troubleshoot effectively with little direction.
Experience in the following areas may also be beneficial:
An understanding of Sharable Content Object Reference Models
Ability to administer an information system and train users on that system
Development of procedures and policies to support online learning programs
Staff management
To be considered for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen and you MUST currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 or 2 federal government security clearance.
