Our client based in Sydney’s west is a well respected electrical contracting company servicing the industrial, commercial and high-end domestic markets. A permanent position and an exciting long term opportunity
exists for a trade qualified electrical fitter mechanic to join an excellent company and a busy and friendly service team.
The role offers varied and interesting work, good rates with overtime available and a fully maintained and equipped company van.
The role requires a motivated and reliable individual with broad ranging skills across electrical and mechanical disciplines in industrial and commercial environments. As you will also be dealing with customers you will need to be well presented and have good communication skills. Good knowledge of the Sydney metro area would also be helpful for your application.
Minimum qualifications required:
- Trade qualification as electrical fitter / mechanic*
- Green card
- Drivers licence (current with good, clean record)
Minimum experience required:
- Electrical fitting in an industrial and/or commercial environment
- Switchboard and panel wiring
- PLC’s
- Reading and understanding schematics
- Mechanical fitting*
*Possessing dual trade qualifications will be highly regarded but electrical qualifications and experience in mechanical fitting is required as a minimum
