Due to extensive investment and increased demand we are currently looking to recruit three experienced laboratory assistants to work on the morning and afternoon shifts. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. You will conduct testing in accordance with all required standards including HACCP, Food Standards Code, Export Requirements and Customer Standards.
The ideal candidate will hold an Applied Science Qualification (or similar) and have extensive practical laboratory experience within a food manufacturer. You will have a strong Root Cause Analysis background and have extensive Microbiological, Biomedical or Chemical testing experience. Strong MS Office skills are essential in the role.
These roles are contract for initially 4 months but may be extended. The shifts are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, shift allowances will be paid on the hourly rate.
