This high profile Government Agency has an innovative reform agenda to implement and is in a strategic period of growth.

Joining a high performing team we are seeking a skilled APS6 Project Officer to fill a critical role. This position will assist in coordinating the implementation of a major government reform and new regulatory framework, including the strategic roll out of operational policy and explanation of new legislation.

Specifically this role requires the development of complex systems, and critical gap analysis of the policies.
The successful candidate must be able to work as a team member in a high pressure environment with shifting priorities.

Your ability to apply strategic thinking to develop solutions to complex issues will be critical, combined with a demonstrated understanding regulatory frameworks affecting industry.

Experience in operational policy, compliance, quality assurance and system development in a regulatory context will see you stand out in this interesting role. Your superior initiative, creative and analytical problem-solving skills will be an advantage in this team-centric environment. Ideally you would need to be quite versed in the Aged Care Act 1997.

This opportunity will initially be offered as contract till the end of June with strong view for extension.
