Leading Australian property group is currently looking for a Treasury Analyst to join their team to assist in the day to day operations of the treasury department. This role has come about due to maternity leave with the initial contract going to February however there is a very real possibility that this role will go permanent. The role will support a highly experienced leadership team.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Cash management and forecasting including preparing daily cashflow model
- Publish and circulate group FX rates
- Prepare weighted average cost of debt calculation
- Prepare the revaluations of all foreign currency borrowings
- Prepare reconciliation of all outstanding loans and derivative instruments with corresponding interest calculations
- Obtain valuation of derivatives each month
- Maintain register of derivatives in place and assist Head of Treasury in fulfilling Board and Finance and Treasury Committee reporting on a monthly basis
- Various ad-hoc duties
As the ideal candidate you will have tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting and at least 2-3 years treasury experience. You will also have Advanced Excel and experience with complex transactions. This role would suit someone who is coming out of either banking back office or a corporate treasury team.
