Due to an internal restructure the company is now on the market for an ambitious Treasury Operations professional to commence mid May initially on a contract with a view to going permanent after 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly and weekly compliance and risk reporting in relation to commodities, currency and interest rate positions
- Prepare monthly treasury risk management reports and assisting in the preparation of month end financial reports
- Treasury back office duties including confirming derivative trades and money market transactions, reconcile derivative settlement advices to invoices and validating settlement prices
- Treasury middle office duties including performing risk and exposure analysis, review of counterparty credit ratings, validating exposures to commodities, FX and interest rates
- Hedge reporting, perform hedge effectiveness testing, maintenance of hedge documentation
Key Requirements
- You must be tertiary qualified in commerce or finance and have experience working in middle/back office function of a corporate treasury division
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, and experience working with a range of derivative instruments
- Exposure to the commodities market will be highly desirable as well as hedge effectiveness testing
- High level of computer literacy including excel modelling experience
- A high standard of communication skills are critical as well as a high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
