Post:TREASURY OFFICER required for Oil and Gas Operator

Our client - an internationally regarded Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Treasury Officer for a 12 month contract role based in the Perth CBD. Within the role you will report into the Treasury and Insurance Coordinator to perform the treasury accounting function. Previous experience within the Finance, Commerce or Treasury department of an enterprise level organisation is required and resources sector experience will be highly regarded.
THE ROLE
- Cash management including planning and reporting
- Payment processing to suppliers, contractors, tax authorities and JV operators
- Assisting the Treasury Coordinator on treasury, and special projects as and when required
- PCFM Finance reporting and rolling forecasting
- Produce daily standard audit reports for review
- Manage prequalification and financial assessment of tenders
- Perform cheque clearing function
- Planning of cash flow of the Company to ensure the timely availability of funds needed to execute payments within the applicable contractual deadlines
- Coordinate interest receivable from deposits with EFI and minimise interest payable on loans
- Liaise with Senior Tax Adviser and ensure that funds are available when needed to meet tax payments
- Prepare and coordinate accurate reports for all Treasury data and related support documentation and information required to be included in the Accounting Records of the Company on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
REQUIRED
Administrative experience within a Finance/Commercial/Treasury Department
5-6 years administrative experience in Treasury and Finance
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
SAP experience
