The position of Group Treasurer will report to the General Manager - Finance and will have the primary responsibility for the management of the Group Treasury function including management of cash flow, maintenance and compliance of debt facilities, financial risk management and bank relationship management. Responsibilities include:
Supervision of Group Treasury team
- Financial risk management, including analysis, monitoring, execution and reporting of approved risk management strategies
- Formulate risk guidelines for Audit & Risk Committee approval, manage and report Group financial risk
- Origination and analysis of new and existing debt facilities for the Group
- Management of intra-group funding requirements and structures
- Management of the Financial Model for longer-term cash flow forecasting, debt servicing and compliance
- Management of existing banking relationships and development of new banking relationships
- Management of relationships with ratings agencies, security trustees and custodians
- Implementation and continuous improvement of business processes and controls
- Assist with provision of relevant financial and treasury information for Regulatory and statutory reporting
- Support and provide level of service to Ausdrill business units
This is a new position and provides an exciting opportunity that is suited to an individual with the knowledge and demonstrated capability in a Treasury role within a large corporate environment.
The ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified with at least 5 years proven experience in a similar role. The successful incumbent will be a strong communicator, a team player and someone with leadership and influencing ability.
