We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Bioscience Specialists Sales Team.

Reporting to the Head of Bioscience Australia & New Zealand, you will be responsible for leading, developing and mentoring the national sales team to drive the overall sales of the Bioscience portfolio in line with marketing strategy. You will formulate and research business plans and ultimately achieve sales targets that will increase market strength and position. You will have complete accountability and responsibility for managing your team and their sales results.

You are a natural leader of people who thrives in facilitating the development of a high performing, aligned and engaged workforce. You inspire and achieve results within complex and competitive environments with a focus on outstanding customer service.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
• A successful track record in sales management within the scientific industry.
• Proven leadership in developing and motivating a team to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Excellent planning and implementation skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels.
• High level of self motivation & desire to succeed.
• A history of over achievement through professionalism, networking and successful communication.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Relevant tertiary business and/or science qualifications.

It is critical that you enjoy a hands-on approach, working with your team to develop, mentor and add value wherever possible. Ability to travel nationally and internationally is also required.
