With a strong global presence, this leader within the heavy industries has diversified to become a key supplier across a range of clients and industry sectors. The Brisbane operations are currently developing a shared service collections and billings function and require an experienced credit manager to assist with this process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating credit management policies and procedures
- Standardising credit procedures across the Australian business region
- Ensuring credit policies are adhered to so debt is collected in a timely manner
- Responsible for timely billing to customers
- Responsible for WIP and collections reporting
- Calculating monthly cash and billings targets
- Providing collection estimates for cash forecasts and highlighting areas of opportunity and risk
- Supervising one direct report
Key Requirements:
- Extensive credit experience in a large corporate environment and shared service function
- Knowledge of legal terminology specifically across credit contracts will be highly regarded
- Prior experience using an ERP finance system
- Available to commence work given a short notice period
