An exciting Credit Control / Accounts Receivable role has become available for an experienced Credit Controller based in North Ryde. Working for a global Healthcare company, this role will see you reporting into the Credit Manager. This role is a maternity leave contract for up to 12 months.
You will be responsible for:
- Assessing the rick related to releasing an order
- Setting up of new customers
- Reconciliation of accounts, raising credit notes
- Inbound and outbound telephone collections of overdue accounts
- Claims management
- Building and maintaining solid relationship with creditors to bring in arrears
- Negotiate and make payment arrangements
- Resolving customer queries and enquiries in relation to their accounts
- Refer seriously overdue accounts to legal team
- Performing month end duties as needed
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in a simpler role - Healthcare or FMCG industry considered advantageous
- A minimum of 2 years credit and collections experience
- The ability to build rapport with clients easily and maintain relationships in the best interest of both the company and the client
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent excel knowledge. (including Pivot Tables, Macros etc...)
- SAP Knowledge (Essential)
- This role requires someone who is confident and has a real passion for credit control and collections. Proven experience is essential as is the ability to bring in arrears through forming solid working relationships. Your outstanding communication skills, personable nature and ability to hit the ground running will see you succeed in this role.
This global company is looking for someone who can develop in this role and move into a 2IC or leadership role. Even though the role is initially a maternity leave cover there are possibilities to make this role more permanent.
