Post: OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER
We are seeking applicants for the position of Operations Team Leader at our Moss Vale Location.
Key duties/responsibilities include:
* Supervising and coordinating activities for
employees within any of the operational
departments
* Perform 'hands on' warehouse operative
duties
* Ensuring employees adhere to SOP's and
safe work practices
* Gathering data and building statistical
reports
* Technical training of employees
* Coaching and development of employees
* Providing regular feedback to employees
around performance
* Communicate and lead departmental tool
box discussions
* Ability to understand and interpret the
Collective Agreement
* Support and application of WHS policies
and procedures
To be successful in the role you will need to possess:
* Demonstrated experience in team building
and motivation
* Support and encourage a positive work
environment fro all staff
* Ability to work within a Team
* Sound understanding of Distribution and
Logistics
* Strong interpersonal and communication
skills
* Problem solving ability
* Experience in MS Excel & Word at an
intermediate level
* Flexibility to work both AM & PM shifts
* Current LF and LO license is desirable
The successful applicant will be required to possess flexible availability as they may be required to work either day or afternoon shift.
