Our CMACS team brings together multiple skill-sets to provide specialised advice to the firm’s clients and engagement teams. The team provides accounting solutions that enhance the firm’s reputation and cut through technical complexity. We provide knowledge, experience and insight into business transactions occurring within Australia and abroad and into emerging regulatory or accounting standard changes. As advisors of choice, we show innovation when considering mergers, business combinations, structuring and other areas of accounting complexity.
We are currently seeking to expand our Global Accounting Consulting Services skill-set by appointing a number of Managers/Senior Managers across our Sydney & Melbourne team. Individuals will:
- provide guidance and advice to clients, partners and staff in respect to accounting and financial reporting queries across a variety of engagements
- develop technical knowledge and expertise in particular accounting standards – building your reputation as a key go-to person for the firm
- stay connected to our global accounting consulting services network to stay abreast of issues impacting our clients and engagement teams
- be presented with opportunities to be involved in leading training, presenting at internal & external conferences, and to contribute to team initiatives.
To be considered for an opportunity with this team, you will:
- possess solid technical knowledge and a demonstrated understanding of accounting standards gained in a professional services environment, ideally in a Big 4 firm
- have experience in advising on practical application of complex accounting issues
- be intuitive in your thinking and able to quickly absorb and grasp technical information
- be able to engage in value oriented conversation with our clients
- have a flexible mindset and interest in trying new things
