Post:Operations Integration Specialist –
Location: Sydney or Melbourne-SYD0002CY


The role of Operations Integration Manager (OIM) is to support all AUiT groups in the delivery of a new/changed service to achieve Operational Acceptance. The OIM will be an integral member of the core project team ensuring operational requirements are understood, documented and delivered during the lifecycle of a project.

Key responsibilities:
  •     Attend Project Kick Off meetings to provide direction on project deliverables and identifying key operational stakeholders
  •     Identify & document any Operational Risks
  •     Ensure Operational Impacts on Budgets for OPEX and CAPEX and communicated to impacted parties
  •     Compliance to Operational Support Agreements
  •     Ensure the appropriate Service Level Agreements are in place prior to implementation
  •     Daily & weekly reporting as required

Key requirements:
  •     Proven analytical skills with experience in liaising at management level
  •     Proven ability to transform analysis into workflow and data flow documents and to identify key milestones throughout the project lifecycle
  •     Proven experience in writing a series of documents, including high level requirements, functional specifications and technical specifications, and the business case
  •     Excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage user requests and expectations, moving them into the business change process
  •     Ability to prioritise among multiple tasks and work within SLA’s
  •     Excellent documentation skills including expert use of MS Word, Visio and MS Excel
  •     Project Management exposure and understanding of different Project management methodologies (Agile beneficial)
