Our client is a NEAS accredited English Language College and an RTO specialising in ELICOS programs, internships, corporate training, and Professional Year (PY) Programs for IT and Accounting students.
They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Studies to lead the Sydney team and manage the day to day operations of the ELICOS and Professional Year Programs.
They have campuses in the heart of Sydney and Melbourne CBD and their student numbers are forecast to grow.
The Director of Studies will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure that quality, both in terms of student welfare and academic excellence, is delivered at their Sydney campus.
Responsibilities include:
* complying with academic standards
* managing implementation of programs
* overseeing teaching staff and timetabling
* ensuring compliance requirements are met
Essential Criteria:
* Recognised degree or equivalent (ideally in Education)
* Extensive experience in managing ELT (essential) and VET (ideal) programs in the private education sector
* Minimum 5 years teaching ELT programs
*TESOL qualification at post graduate diploma level or above
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
Desirable Criteria:
*Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment
* Strong knowledge of ASQA, NEAS, ESOS, CRICOS legislation and requirements
* Ability to build a strong rapport with staff and students with proven leadership skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
