Corpus Christi College is a catholic secondary College catering for over 1100 students from Years 7 - 12 and is also a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (Years 7 - 9) which commenced with the first cohort of Year 7's in 2009'
The College operates as a Middle School and Senior School learning environment catering for the needs of Early Adolescents and Later Adolescents respectively. The main focus of the learning is the development of independent and interdependent learners. The College has created a set of nine Learning Outcomes that forms the basis of the curriculum.
The curriculum operates across the nine learning areas of the College: Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Society and Environment, Languages Other Than English, The Arts, Physical and Health Education and Technology and Enterprise.
Property Manager
Full Time
An opportunity has become available for a Property Manager to lead the Corpus Christi College Maintenance and Grounds Facilities team. The Property Manager will be required to ensure the buildings and facilities maintenance and grounds resources are kept to the highest standards for the College community, in partnership with the grounds and maintenance staff through their supervision and management. This will be accomplished by coordinating, planning, managing and scheduling work within relevant timeframes to ensure the successful running of the College. Currently, the Property Manager will manage a team of three staff, in addition to liaising with a range of sub-contractors, including cleaners.
The Property Manager is directly accountable to the Business Manager on behalf of the Principal, and meets on a weekly basis to ensure all aspects of the role are managed and supported. The Property Manager will also provide support to the Leadership team in the course of their duties.
The role includes liaising with contractors, the maintenance of landscaping work, maintaining the cleanliness of our College, and minor repairs of facilities and equipment. The Property Manager is responsible for setting up for major College events, and at times, responds to security call-outs.
An individual with energy, enthusiasm, drive and a positive attitude is required. Experience in general handyman/ trade skills is essential and experience in grounds and garden maintenance of a large facility will also be advantageous but not essential, as well as good and effective time management. Experience in the management of budgets, and the ability to use information technology software to support these skills, are critical aspects of this role.
Proven operational experience balanced with strong inter-personal skills and the ability to manage people to form a strong, cohesive team will be highly desirable qualities in the successful appointee.

The responsibilities and expectations associated with this role are reflected in the remuneration package, which includes a vehicle and a mobile phone. Salary will be determined in accordance with the successful applicant’s ability and experience.
