Classification: Accounting Company Secretaries
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will manage a small team covering both finance and administration. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated hands on accounting professional with a strong analytical mindset.
The key requirements for this role are as follows:-
- Ensuring that all accounting records meet applicable accounting standards;
- Accurate and timely production of financial reports;
- Financial analysis and variance analysis reporting;
- Managing Group asset financing and applications;
- Maintaining adequate insurance policies to ensure the protection of the Group’s assets;
- Timely preparation of all tax returns and the payment of all taxes and government charges;
- Preparation of management accounts, budgets and cash forecasts as required to assist in the prudent financial management of the Company;
- Administration of the Company Payroll System;
- Company Secretarial duties (including Board attendance and minute preparation)
Skills & Experience
- Must have CA/CPA qualifications
- A number of years’ experience in a similar role within Agribusiness or general industry
- Strategic approach to improve business processes and performance
- Reporting, forecasting, budget and project management
- Have experience with computerized accounting package (preferably Sybiz Vision/Attache)
It is preferred that the successful candidate has worked within the agribusiness or manufacturing sectors, with extensive experience in management accounts, budgetary control & cost management. You will be a practical, hands on decision maker who possesses superior influencing, relationship building skills capable of leading a small team.
