Role Description:
A national FMCG brand are seeking a Systems Accountant with excellent knowledge of SQL to act as a link between their IT and finance teams.
Example of duties:
- Managing the performance of the accounting system through the organisations control framework
- Implementing systems strategies working closely with colleagues in the IT division.
- Deliver continuous improvements to system in line with strategic aims of the business, streamlining processes wherever possible
- Maintaining system data in line with the general ledger
Minimum Candidate Expectations:
- Prior experience of working as a systems accountant ideally within a large multinational company.
- Proven ability to write SQL queries (essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- CA/CPA studying, or recently qualified
- Candidates with prior experience of a major systems implementation will be looked upon favourably
