We are currently working with a specific client to source suitable professionals for the following engagement:

The Company

Highly successful, fast growing corporate, involved in an exciting industry sector involving large value contracts with heavy CAPEX involvement. As a result of a restructure, the Commercial Analysis team will be re locating to Melbourne over the coming months, prompting a need to take on an astute Commercial Analyst on a contract basis, with the potential of leading onto a permanent opportunity.

The Role
Reporting to the Planning & Analysis Manager, you will be partnering with the Sales team in evaluating potential sales opportunities using financial models and other evaluation tools, looking at NPV and IRR. Capital spend, pricing and labour costing is likely to be involved to varying degrees of complexity with most evaluations. In addition, you will be involved in setting up some reporting and analysis of past deals, to identify trends useful for the evaluation of future deals.

Your Profile

An astute, dynamic Finance based Professional, you will have highly developed Analytical skills, with recent experience in a commercially oriented business partnering role. Experience in working closely with / partnering a sales team to assess and drive deals is essential. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel Modelling skills are essential for success in this role.
