abrs is currently recruiting for a position in a government organisation in Canberra. The organisation is
looking for hard working, friendly and team orientated staff members who will man there National Intake Centre and provide support and guidance to those people availing of the service.
We are looking for people to work mid week and at the weekends on a roster basis. The role will be on going. The team have been in place for 1 year and you will receive excellent induction and support through out the contract.
The successful candidates will have;
Degree in Human Services e.g. Social Works or Psychology.
Experience working with a diverse range of issues. Understand, assessing and developing action plans to a range of issues.
Knowledge of services that are available and ability to refer clients.
A strong understanding of Human Services requirements.
Excellent communication skills and assessment skills.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
We are looking for people who have the ability to support both clients and colleagues in this exciting project. The position will be based in Canberra and would suit people looking for a role that will be diverse and challenging. The role is available immediately.
