Full TimeWe are seeking a career focused and ambitious senior accountant to undertake a range of business
services and accounts related responsibilities, this includes the preparation of accounts, returns and advisory work for trusts, companies, partnerships and community not for profit organisations.
This role will require substantial internal client interaction and will therefore require strong communication skills with a focus towards client relationships and business development.
The successful candidate will require 3 to 5 years business services experience and have completed or near completed either CA or CPA.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the business services and finance team across a vast range of responsibilities.
Key exposure and performance criteria within this position will include:
· Preparation of group accounts to balance sheet stage
· Processing transfers of special purpose funds
· Assist with monitoring and reconciling of bank accounts
· Monitor and reconcile suspense and clearing accounts
· Track and record documentation on purchases, additions and disposals of assets
· Preparation of various ledger account reconciliations
· Assist with collection of outstanding debts
· Data input into the financial system as required
· Support the budget development process with the preparation of calculations and working papers
· Assist in the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
· Assist in the preparation of periodic management and key strategy reports.
· Assist with the preparation of the annual FBT return and maintenance of supporting information.
· File audit and compliance
· Accurately processing financial transactions and reports
· Provide administrative assistance to the Business services and Finance team

You will have 3 to 5 years accounting and business services experience and have completed or near completed either CA or CPA.
You will be required to pass relevant security and police checks for work in health services, childrens services, disability and aged care.
