We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager to join our 24 x 7 Emergency Assistance Team within the Travel division in Glen Waverley.
In this role you will be rostered to work along with case managers and medical staff to ensure customers who are stranded in difficult situations or emergencies receive the best advice, service and outcomes. The days are never dull, one minute handling simple theft calls, the next assisting the medical staff with a repatriation!
End-to-end management of cases & the autonomy to build relationships with customers and external service providers like doctors, airlines officials, embassy officers, etc. along with quick delivery schedules are some of the highlights of the role.
Responsible for:
Handling inbound emergency assistance calls from overseas travellers
Case management, which involves following up information, such as medical and police reports
Contacting relatives and home doctors
Arranging flights, medicals and accommodation
Compiling case notes, sending emails, letters of guarantee, etc.
To be successful you will demonstrate proven experience in the following skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Analytical & Decision-making
Relationship building
Adapt to change quickly & display respect and sensitivity to people in challenging situations
Follow SLAs and deadlines
Goal and result orientation
Second language will be highly considered! While travel industry experience will be highly regarded, it is not essential.
This is a permanent position and you will be rostered to work 12 hour shifts covering both day and nights and includes weekend on a rotational basis.
