Su:rf Life Saving NSW is the state's primary water safety and rescue organisation and one of the largest
volunteer movements in the country. We support more than 76,000 members in 129 clubs to serve the community through the provision of beach patrol services, coastal emergency response, training and education, sports and junior development.
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced individual to drive and manage the lifesaving programs, projects, policies and resources necessary to support frontline lifesaving services and position SLSNSW as the peak coastal authority in NSW.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have sound knowledge of Surf Lifesaving operations and proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong management and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
Essential Experience Required:
Demonstrated success in managing projects budgets and staff in a team environment;
Sound computer skills particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
A flexible approach to work and a positive attitude;
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
An understanding of the current emergency services environment and relevant government bodies and processes is desirable along with experience working in the Emergency Services industry.
