The Team
Group Operational Risk and Compliance (GOR&C) ensures the Group has appropriate strategies and
frameworks in place to assess, manage and report on operational, compliance and insurance risks. The team is also responsible for a range of operational risk, compliance risk and regulatory risk-reports, briefs, papers and submissions to the Group Risk Leadership Team, CEO and Risk Committee.
The Opportunity
If you love working with excel and developing new ideas and driving maximum productivity we have an exciting opportunity for you to help drive the enhancement, maintenance and implementation of the Group's Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF).
What will success look like?
- Analysing RiskInSite data to support deep-dives into ORMF elements, areas of emerging risks and assessments of Business Unit maturity of embededness of the ORMF;
- Developing analytics and reporting to monitor consistent application of the ORMF and to assist with re-development and implementation of the Group's Operational Risk Capital Model;
- Commentary on movements, emerging issues, data linkages, & insights to support reporting requirements to the Board and Management;
- Production of data for external and regulatory reporting, e.g. APRA ARF 115 data returns, APRA Internal Loss data refresh exercises, Operational Risk Exchange and ensure quality assurance standards are met;
- Being a proactive member of the Reporting Working Group sharing knowledge and developing new ideas and drive maximum productivity benefits and efficiency.
What will help you succeed?
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills;
- Experience with report development and design tools (preferable Cognos);
- Advanced Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel;
- Having a broad understanding of specialist areas of operational risk management and measurement;
- Experience using OpenPages.
