This financial services business is the leader in its field and is more than double the size of its nearest
competitor. Due to growth and the acquisition of another company there is a current vacancy for a technical, CA qualified financial accountant to join the team on a year-end contract basis.
Reporting to the financial Controller you will be responsible for the statutory reporting for 8 of its subsidiaries:
• Provide in depth business unit reporting for each of the subsidiaries
• Perform consolidated reporting
• Liaise with Auditors on year-end queries.
• Have a good understanding of AIFRS
• Ideally have some financial services experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical statutory reporting role and be CA qualified. You will be confident and proactive in your approach to work and be able to work autonomously. The right candidate will potentially be offered a permanent position at the end of the 4-6 month period.
