Tax Accountant

Established over 15 years ago, this boutique public practice has developed a solid reputation for providing a variety of accounting services to individuals and SMEs. Operating with a small team in a supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to manage and develop a solid client base in addition to undertaking your own professional training.
The Role
In your new role, you will be responsible for working directly with a broad range of clientele on the following:
- Completion of tax accounting and financial reporting for individuals and SMEs
- Attending weekly training and development meetings
- Liaison with clients, internal stakeholders and the ATO
- Preparation of BAS and other financials
You
To be successfully appointed, you will ideally have substantial local experience in addition to the following:
- Substantial knowledge of Austalian Tax Law essential
- Experience in a similar role essentiall
- Accounting Degree of Diploma qualification essential
- Relevant CA or CPA qualification advantageous
- Previous experience working within business services and taxation
- Exposure to Sage Handisoft and MYOB or similar
- Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
