A global, logistics organization, based in the South East suburbs of Perth, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Our client is forecasting substantial growth within the next 2-5 years so a restructure within their finance team is necessary in order to meet the demand by internal management and key stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Monthly financial accounts including prepayments, accruals and provisions
- Balance sheet reconciliations, profit & loss preparation and variance analysis
- Month-end management reporting packs
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- GL/ Bank reconciliations
- Cash flow monitoring, budgeting & forecasting
- BAS/FBT/GST and Payroll Tax
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Managing internal and external annual audit
- Assisting the Financial Controller in ad-hoc duties
- Great Plains Dynamics ERP used.
CA/CPA Qualified, the successful candidate will have experience gained within a reputable and results driven environment. Experience working for a Big 4 firm and relevant industry desirable. Working with a large ERP system is a must.
