Experienced Facility Manager, Director of Nursing required to manage residential Aged Care in a 70 bed
High
Care Facility, Picton. As a registered nurse with a good understanding
of the aged care operating environment you have proven experience
managing an aged care service, including responsibility for financial
outcomes.
Above all you are resident focused and have a passion for achieving
excellent care and quality of life for older people. You recognise that
quality outcomes for clients go hand in hand with the creation of an
effective culture ensuring the delivery of an enriching experience. You
have the ability to translate cultural expectations into operational
systems and structures.
A key component of your new role will be to work with the service’s
management team to achieve cultural change. You are a strong
relationship builder who knows how to build a productive team. You
understand the importance of creating and maintaining a strong team
environment, based on respect, growth and interconnectedness linked
together through a strong shared understanding of the service’s goals
and direction.
• Current AHPRA and CRCs
• Post Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline
• Aged Care Facility Management experience
• Financial and business acumen
• Excellent communication skills
Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Act and experience in Accreditation.
