AMSA currently has vacancies in three of our regional offices, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, for experienced administrators with demonstrated experience liaising with the public, managing databases and working with electronic records management systems. 

The Seafarer Certification Officers will be responsible for performing the first stage of the certification process, including entering information into the database, liaising with vessel operators and colleges and undertaking initial assessments of applications.  The Seafarer Certification Officers will also be responsible for coordinating examination bookings, providing information and assistance to seafarers and processing fees.

These positions will suit individuals with demonstrated administrative experience and a strong customer focus.  The ability to interpret and analyse data and draw accurate conclusions is also essential.
