Accounts Officer
PANDA (Post and Antenatal Depression Association) is looking for a proactive Accounts Officer to join our team of staff and volunteers delivering a vital service to families across Australia
. Over the past two years PANDA has experienced extensive growth in service delivery. During this time work has been undertaken on developing systems and processes in accounting, payroll and HR to support a growing organisation. The Accounts Officer, working closely with the Accounting and Payroll Manager, will play an important role in consolidating and maintaining quality accounting and payroll systems and processes for PANDA.

Duties include:
• Undertaking the day to day duties associated with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, assets recording and petty cash in accordance with PANDA’s accounting and payroll policies and procedures.
• Assisting the Accounting & Payroll Manager in the timely and accurate completion of all monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations, acquittals and reporting (both internal and external) in accordance with PANDA’s accounting and payroll policies and procedures.
• Assisting the Accounting & Payroll Manager in the annual budgeting process and the input and modifications to accounting and payroll systems and software arising from this process.
• Assisting the Accounting & Payroll Manager in the preparation of accounts and documentation for audit.
