We have an opportunity for a strategic leader with a strong focus on business development to manage and grow our Computershare Communication Services (CCS) Business in Osborne Park, WA.

Reporting to the Managing Director of CCS, the General Manager – Sales and Business Growth is responsible for providing executive level direction over the growth of the WA business whilst delivering general management to the business.

You will be joining a well-performing, efficient business with a strong product and committed staff.  Reporting into this role are two Senior Relationship Managers, the Site Manager and the Operations Manager. Our clients include other Computershare businesses as well as external clients from areas including Finance, Utilities, Superannuation and Government. CCS provides business process automation and multi-channel communication solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•  Developing and executing new opportunities from existing and prospective accounts

•  Directing sales team activities and meeting budgetary commitments

•  Creating and delivering a 3 year growth plan

•  Leading the team in building relationships with internal clients

•  Developing a thorough understanding of the WA market, anticipating client needs and analysing industry trends

•  Leading and participating in major projects

•  Leading and directing presentations to clients and prospective clients

•  Representing CCS at an executive level, growing appropriate networks and industry contacts

•  Selecting, motivating and rewarding people in the team

•  Developing and implementing strategic marketing and business plans

We are seeking a strong leader and strategic salesperson with a passion for growing our business. Experience working within the communication industry is not essential, provided you have worked in an industry akin to developing long-term partnerships, deep strategic sales plans and developing tailored approaches based on matching market needs with packaged solutions.

To be considered for this position you must also have:

•  Experience leading, managing, coaching and directing a team to achieve its objectives

•  Experience winning new business and retaining client relationships

•  Experience setting and adjusting business strategy and developing a long term vision

•  A track record of achieving set objectives, goals and KPIs

•  Experience running and executing successful projects

•  Experience in financial reporting inclusive of tracking and adjusting budgets and running profit and loss statements

•  Proven ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders including Senior Executives

•  Strong business acumen

•  Highly developed organisational and planning capabilities

•  Proven risk awareness with demonstrated experience of minimizing risk

•  Strong client focus and the ability to deliver outcomes that meet business and client expectations
