Our client, a boutique and well established, forward thinking CPA firm is looking to implement a Senior Tax/Business Services Accountant. This is great opportunity to have control and ownership of your client base and develop into a Consulting role. The client base is varied anything from High Net Worth individuals up to ASX listed companies and you will have complete autonomy over this. This role carries little or no supervision so you need to be able to hit the ground running and have the ability to support the more junior members of staff.
Duties include:
*Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for Companies, Individuals and Trusts
*Preparation of SMSF accounts.
*Preparation and review of quarterly reporting to the ATO.
*Developing and maintaining client relationships.
*Research and advice for various tax issues to clients.
*Liaise with ATO and general correspondence in relation to income tax, GST and PAYG matters.
You will be:
*CA/CPA qualified or very close to being so.
*A minimum of 5 years Public Practice experience within Australia
*The ability to mentor and supervise junior members of staff
*Highly organised and able to think outside of the box
