Autism Queensland is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Teachers for a role at our Sunnybank Hills school. This position will be offered on a part-time basis of 35 hours per fortnight. Standard Teaching days will be each Thursday and Friday with an Outreach day scheduled each Wednesday (this day may be able to be re-negotiated).
The successful applicant will have :-
Tertiary Qualifications in Primary Education and/or Special Education
Current registration with Qld Teacher’s Registration Board
Experience teaching 13-15 year old children with ASD and/or special needs
Flexible and enthusiastic attitude towards providing quality teaching programs to children with special needs
This position will commence in May 2013.
