The Organization:

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group, pursues its mission of reducing poverty and improving people’s lives by promoting private sector development through investment and advisory services. IFC Advisory Services is structured into four business lines – Access to Finance, Investment Climate, Public-Private Partnerships and Sustainable Business Advisory. The Access to Finance (A2F) business line aims to increase the number of individuals/firms with access to basic financial services, to increase the diversity of financial services available to poor households, and to lower the costs of essential services.
Duties and Accountabilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
Works with high level of discretion and autonomy in providing wide-ranging executive assistance to the Pacific Country Manager and Senior Country Officer (Front Office), as well as administrative coordination within the East Asia and Pacific regional department. This will include time management and scheduling, incorporating effective prioritising and resolving related conflicts and competing demands; drafting/finalising correspondence on a range of topics independently; assisting with coordination and preparation of briefing books and presentations for high-level meetings and conferences; managing travel/visa requirements.

Selection Criteria

High school diploma with 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in providing executive administrative support to senior managers.
Advanced working skills in multiple computer software applications (e.g. inter-related word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, database and presentation applications).
Excellent track record in organising, prioritising, scheduling, planning and coordinating work and other activities internally and externally.
