Job Description
Objective:
The primary role of this position is to provide outstanding customer service. This individual must have the ability to speak clearly and positively. Handle complex situations, be a quick thinker in order to solve customers’ problems. In addition, this position will organize,
coordinate, and dispatch the delivery of Western Reserve Farm Cooperative, Inc. petroleum products to assigned customers.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service assisting with delivery questions or orders via telephone.
- Obtain, prioritize, organize, and dispatch all petroleum orders.
- Coordinate the driver’s schedules for routine delivery driving and non-driving work assignments.
- Coordinate all pertinent communications between the delivery drivers and office staff to ensure satisfying and efficient customer service.
- Coordinate with the corporate office to maintain and monitor documentation for the driver’s requirements; daily vehicle inspections, driving records, truck registration, tank testing, etc.
- Coordinate the preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance of vehicles to minimize the disruption of customer service.
- Monitor the driver’s data; daily hours worked (timekeeping records), delivery requirements, mileage, and safety training compliance.
- Coordinate and monitor all petroleum and liquid fuel purchases.
- Create and initiate purchase orders for all the petroleum additives inventories at all locations, while monitoring and maintaining the most cost-effective inventory levels.
- Monitor all farm and field tanks and supporting equipment, coordinating equipment pick-up, placement, and product inventory levels.
- Assist customers needing propane tank filling and other sales transactions.
- Unload products from delivery trucks when necessary.
- Have good administrative skills with some simple accounting and reporting capabilities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
MinimumQualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Must have be a good communicator.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must have the ability to do simple math and reading.
- Must be proficient in the use of a computer.
