Reporting to the Director of Programs and as part of the Global Programs Leadership Group you will be supporting programming activities across 19 countries in Africa and Asia. You will responsible for leading the financial resource mobilisation work of The Foundation.
In this newly created position your skills and expertise will be used to provide strong leadership in the area of resource mobilisation. Working closely with program staff, institutional donors (public / private) and other key partners you will maximize growth opportunities by establishing and implementing strategies and initiatives which support high quality funding proposal development and grant management processes. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for emerging and innovative financing.
The Global Lead –Resource Mobilisation, will be a highly experienced international development professional with previous experience leading a global workforce. Your previous experience working within the International Development sector along with your experience of working with international aid donors (AusAID, USAID, DFID etc), designing, submitting and managing aid funded programs will be essential to your success in this role. In addition to your previous experience your ability to cultivate key relationships will be your strength - developing strategies and resources to influence, persuade and build the confidence of program staff, partners and other stakeholders. You’ll have first rate communication skills with an ability to lead and develop a team of Program professionals.
Ideally this position will be based in our Sydney office and we welcome applications from Non-Australian residents eligible for sponsorship. For exceptional applicants, other locations may be considered.
The ability to travel internationally will be essential.
