 Background information;
 Opportunity for a Business Continuity Manager who will responsible for governance of the Business Continuity Program for the ANZ region has arisen. Based in our Head Office in Abbotsford, this role will oversee the compliance of regulations, client obligations and the global Business Continuity Policy and Program. You will also represent Business Continuity to external parties including; client and external audits, questionnaires and assessments, vendors and contracts.


The Business Continuity Manager is required to maintain a good working knowledge of Business Continuity Management (BCM) principles, and apply these key disciplines to ensure best practices are applied in a practical manner to meet the needs of the organization.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to are:

  • Governance, oversight and execution of global Business Continuity Program
  • Maintain and manage Crisis Management Program and provide real-time support during events and invocation
  • Client and External Audit engagements
  • Compliance with business continuity regulatory and client contractual obligations
  • Liaise with Business Continuity Representatives and Key Business Contacts
  • Prepare reports for Executive and Senior Management and the wider business
  • Prepare 'real disaster' scenarios for testing purposes
  • Co-ordinate the formal business 'Impact Analysis' process
  • Coordinate business continuity components of Disaster Recovery activities, testing and reporting
  • Promote and manage enhancements to the Business Continuity program

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience in a business continuity or disaster recovery role
  • Experience producing continuity plans
  • Knowledge of business contingency standards
  • Strong research skills and sound ability to collate relevant information
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
