As Supervisor Processing Operations you will be responsible for the
supervision of multi-skilled work teams in order to optimise plant throughput,
efficiency, reliability, quality and costs in accordance with the BMA's
policies and objectives
Key responsibilities and duties include:
The ability and courage to lead
change and develop a high performing crew;
An absolute commitment to work
safely, comply with all site safety standards, compliance with mine working
procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace;
An ability to plan, organise and
coordinate a variety of tasks (production and maintenance) within a dynamic
environment;
Coaching and developing crew and
ensuring they adhere to targets;
Manage, coordinate ROM and Coal
Processing activities; and
Actively participate in process
improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a
processing plant or maintenance environment;
Demonstrated leadership skills
and the willingness to support and lead a team;
The ability to plan, organise and
coordinate a variety of tasks within a changing environment;
Computer literacy / familiarity
with the Microsoft suite of programs, previous SAP experience;
Trade or Operator background will
be high advantageous; and
Well-developed written, verbal
and communication skills.
